2 days - Capri - Pompeii - Vesuvius - Possitani - Sorrento - Amalfi Coast

We are staying at Naples and have two full days end of May to cover as much as we can from the above - any idea on how we can do it within 2 days? Anyone aware of coach tours which can help cover both?

I wouldn't do it all in 2 days. I would choose 2 places and do them justice. Consider either the Amalfi Coast (including Positano) and Pompeii or Pompeii and Capri. It is so difficult to see everything in 2 days and get a good feel for your destinations. Pompeii needs several hours and visiting Capri, including the ferry trip to and from really requires a day. The Amalfi Coast also requires at LEAST a day.

I agree with the previous poster, I wouldn't do more than 2 - or personally, 1 - of these in 2 days. On our first visit to Naples, we spent a week without leaving the city as there is so much to see there. But if you are only interested in Naples as a base to see the other places, I'd also say 1 day for Pompeii (we spent 7 hours there, when we finally got there on our 2nd visit to Naples) and 1 day for a drive down the Amalfi Coast and back - if you are happy basically just to see it from a car or bus window with a quick lunch break somewhere. Or stay in Amalfi instead of Naples, and get the bus/boat in the daytime each day to a couple of the other places you mention, such as Positano & Capri? Personally I don't think Capri is enjoyable as a daytrip, though, you need to stay there to appreciate its beauty.

I agree you are attempting too much; I suggest you drop Capri or Pompeii from your list.
Just in case you find it helpful, you can read my trip report for the Amalfi Coast at:
http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...1-to-oct-3.cfm

Really, a trip to Capri will take 1 full day, a trip along the coast also one full day, Pompeii(including transportation to and from the city), at least 8 hors; so, I think you have to drop one destinatios, I wwould not drop the visit along the coast.
Enjoy your stay!!!

I doubt you could "see" Pompeii and Capri from Naples in the same day. There's too much travel time involved and too much to see in each place.

You'd spend less time getting to places and back if you were staying in Sorrento rather than Naples. Sorrento is more centrally located for your wish list.
