2 chicks-- Their stay in Rome...
lefontanellebedandbreakfast.com
Wondering if anyone has stayed here? |
No, but I really think you can do better for a location with a b&b or small hotel. Try moving closing to the river, and the Vatican.
If Pensione Barrett is in your budget, it's a great location and a happy place. |
I agree with zeppole re:location.
If you are there for a week consider an apartment. |
I wouldn't stay that far out.

I would not stay that far out either.

Hi,
For a much better, central, fun location I would stay in the Pantheon area, the most central area of Rome. This area is surrounded by restaurants ranging from budget to midrange and high-end. You will be within very easy walking distance to all the major sites which will save you money on transportation. My 11 year old son and I walked everywhere when we stayed in the Pantheon area. I can highly recommend some wonderful accommodation located right near the Pantheon itself. It is reasonably priced and the owners are a young couple, Francesco & Isabella, and they are only too happy to recommend restaurants and things to see. There are 3 rooms to choose from all with air-conditioning and private bathrooms. The breakfast is beautiful and served to your room at a time of your choice. It is the B&B Baldassini on Via delle Coppelle. www.baldassinibeb.it Here you can read the great reviews this place gets, it is these reviews which convinced me to book there last June and I will be returning to stay in March: http://rome-hotels.tripadvisor.com/H...ome_Lazio.html If you think you like the look of the B&B and you decide to book, please feel welcome to quote my past guest discount code (BBB777) to obtain a small discount on your accommodation. The owners are happy for me to pass this code on to whoever would like to take advantage of it! Also, if you book, the owners will give you your own discount code for a further discount - the 2 discounts can be used at the same time for the same booking! I can also recommend some wonderful restaurants, cafes, bars in the area of the B&B Baldassini. If you are interested, here are 2 links to info on many things around the Pantheon area, I compiled this info following my last trip to Rome. http://rome-hotels.tripadvisor.com/S...ome_Lazio.html http://rome-hotels.tripadvisor.com/S...ome_Lazio.html If I can help you with any other info on Rome or anywhere else you might be visiting in Italy please let me know. hi!
Last year I stayed with some friends at Hotel Giorgi, near the railway station and an underground stop. This has been a good choice, so we could easily reach every corner of Rome with the underground! :D The hotel has bright and clean rooms and a very good breakfast...I recommend it! http://www.hotelgiorgi.com/ |
