2 bedroom apt in Paris

We're closing in on 2-bedroom apartment choices and I've been impressed with vrbo.90955 - the comments have been very impressive, it is in arind #6 on Rue Saint Pere which seems like a good location for our needs. There are 4 of us (cousins in our mid 50's) Does anyone have any experience with this apt or this location that would help us make our final decision? It's tough when you've never been to a city before. Thanks again

Is that rue St. Peres in the 6th? If so, it's a very good neighborhood and location. I've stayed in that neighborhood almost annually since around 1981. And you'll have a big chocolate store on that street. Smiles. I've bought chocolate there, for Parisian friends, as gifts. Happy Travels!

The location of the apartment is terrific and very central. You would be able to walk to many of the sights. I like that area a lot.

The master bedroom shower is a bit quirky but certainly convenient! Here's the link if anyone else is checking it out: http://www.vrbo.com/90955.

I'm looking also.
Must be in the 5th and have two seperate bedrooms, a bath and no more than $3000 for one week.
Am I asking too much. Is this possible? I have checked over
a dozen places but most of the second bedroom was actually a sofabed.

Bellejour,

I rented before from www.parisianflat.com and I know they have a real 2-bedroom in the 5th.

cw. they do have a few but they are over the $3000.
A problem is one of the women wants a bathtub so that gives less choices.

Micah,

Wow! It looks absolutely perfect - both the apartment itself and the location.

I would grab it.

Hello Micah - I don't have any knowledge of this apartment but did stay last summer in the owner's other apartment, located on rue Cler.

That apartment was very comfortable - the first apartment that we have rented that felt like home. We did have some problems with the wifi in the apartment and the owner came by during the visit to make certain that it was fixed. She is a very charming woman (and I am blanking on her name) and was wonderful to rent from.

Hope that helps. Bon voyage!
