Hi- A wonderful restaurant in San Marco is the Ristorante Accademia- owned by brothers Aldo and Gianni. They are open for lunch and dinner. Great food and a very friendly staff. We enjoyed it so much that we went back 3 times!

Can anyone give suggested times for the museums? I know I will get varied answers, depending on a persons likes, but that may help us in figuring out how long to stay before moving onto the next sight and maybe having a better plan. Need to squeeze gelato time :d in as well as checking out the outdoor markets.

Thanks!

We will be in Florence for four days. We would like to include trips to Siena,Fiesole,San Gim.,and Pisa. Can you tell me if there are two that we can do in one day or which are near to each other? I appreciate Itinerary help for four days. Thanks.

Robbiegirl: We went to San Gim in the morning, sent to Siena for lunch, and had time to stop in a couple other places (wineries) en route, in one day, by car. Fiesole is so close to Florence, you could probably squeeze that in, too, or run up there to see it on one of your Florence days. There is a bus that drops you off right in the heart of Fiesole. We spent most of a day taking a mid-morning train to Pisa, walking to the leaning tower, having lunch, going through the museum, etc. It was a nice day trip, and we still got back to Florence in time for dinner.
