2-3 Weeks in Western Europe...Don't know where to go

Jump to last reply

I'm in my early 20's and am planning a trip to Western Europe but am at a loss and can't decide where to go. I have signed up for a French language program in Lyon, France for 6 weeks in June/July and will spend a week in London at the end of August.

I have 1 week to travel at the end of July, but need to stay somewhat near Lyon because I'm meeting friends there a week later...I was thinking Northern Italy but don't know if that'd be too ambitious.

After my week in London I'll have another 2-3 weeks of traveling by myself before I fly out of London to go home. Any itinerary suggestions you have would be helpful keeping in mind I'm on a budget and will have spent lots of time in France already!
