Do you think it is reasonable to try to fit Bath in? We will spend 3 days in London before going to Walton Hall. Once again, as it was when I planned our Italy trips, I may be trying to fit too much into one trip.

Sure, you'll have plenty of time to see Bath. But I would not go there from London. You will have a full week at Walton Hall, so just do it as a day trip from the resort.

If you drive out through Evesham and catch the Motorway south it will be about 75 miles mostly fast driving.

One hint -- parking in Bath can be a real problem so follow the signs to a park-and-ride. You can park free all day and take a shuttle bus into the city center.

Again, Janis, thanks so much. This board made our trip to Italy spectacular last summer, and it is looking like it will do the same for our next one !
