1st trip to ireland
 
travel time 3-4 weeks any time of the year as we are retired.We stay in one place 5-7 days,and make short day trips.
Not a lot of walking or stair climbing.Small towns and people watching.what part should we visit. thanks.

Small towns and villages are all Ireland has. Slow pace, nice people. You can do what you stated anywhere.

our favorites were doolin, dingle, and kenmare. all of which we will revisit, this time with our extended family, this june.

I would add to your list westport...have heard many good things and beautiful area to explore (we will visit for 1st time on our june trip)

another nice town with lots to see in the area would be kinsale.

29 days and counting until we leave for Ireland!
