Rita, Thanks for the museum tip. I was wondering if the 3 or 5 day museum pass had to be used on consecutive days. Well now I know that, unfortunately, they do.<BR><BR>I want to let everyone know that Elaine emailed me her Paris file and it was wonderful. It will take me weeks to get through it. Anyone that is planning a trip should see this file. It is huge, but appears very informative.<BR><BR>Tammy-So I assume the fountains only run on Sundays. How many different tours of their various private rooms do they offer? Does Versaille have a website?<BR><BR>Beth-Thanks for the museum tips and we definitely want to do the fashion show. Versailles website:<BR>http://www.chateauversailles.fr/<BR><BR>I'd like to make a vote for the Michelin Map 16 "Paris Atlas par arrondissements". It's in book form so you can just flip to the neighborhood you're in and not have a huge map flapping around in the wind. We picked it up at a Barnes & Noble (on the advice of a Parisienne I met while browsing the travel section there). There was a little store I wanted to find and the tourist map we were given didn't have the street I needed on it (it was very tiny). The Michelin Map was the only way I could have found this place. Well, I could have just started asking people on the street...<BR><BR>

One of the best Paris tips we have received is to see Paris Story, a very clever presentation which plays hourly, on the hour. It is located just to the left of the Opera Garnier on Rue Scribe [next door to the American Express]. <BR><BR>The department stores Galeries Lafayette and Au Printemps are right up the Street. If you find yourselves there, go up to the roof deck of the second Au Printemps building for some nice views of the city.<BR><BR>By the way, it's a good idea to get a laminated map. Our favorite is the one put out by B&B City Streets.<BR><BR>
