16 day Trip to Spain - Advise on Itinerary
I am travelling to Spain this April. Flying into Madrid and Flying out of Barcelona.
Was looking as some advise with regards to the itinerary I am planning
Have planned for:
3 days Madrid (with a day trip to Toledo)
2 days Granada
2 days Seville
1 day Cadiz/Costa de la Sol
1 day Ronda
2 days Cordoba
2 days Valencia
3 days Barcelona
Was wondering if I should include or drop any particular destination.
I would also like to do a self drive road trip for some part of my travel. which would the best area to do that.
Can anybody help me?

On a trip of this length, I like to have a longer stay at some point--but that is just me. Consider your own travel style when evaluating. We don't know if you have taken a trip like this before and like to move at a quicker place. This does not look impossibly rushed, though a lot of folks here prefer a slower pace. I don't see much time for driving around. If that is a priority, I would consider eliminating Valencia--though I have not been, I get the sense that it is the kind of place you need time to appreciate, and it is an outlier geographically. If you do that, driving in Andalucia would be the obvious choice, and you may need to rearrange the order and find the best flight to Barcelona.
I really liked staying in Cordoba, but you could stay longer in Sevilla and visit both Cordoba and Cadiz as day trips. Some will say skip Ronda, but if it works between two other places, keep the overnight--the sunsets there are magical.

Your itinerary is good, but I'd suggest dropping Cadiz and Ronda and putting those days onto Seville. Could also drop Valencia and put those days onto Barcelona. Hey, wherever you go, you'll enjoy yourself and have fun.

You can stop in Ronda on the way to Sevilla. Stay put in Sevilla and do day trips to Cordoba, Cadiz and the Sherry Triangle (easy on the train from Sevilla).
It's a tough hull from Cordoba to Valencia unless you go through Madrid, which would be your best option.
If you want to drive, then Cordoa-Valencia-Barcelona (by way of Falset).

In general, I like you plan, BUT you might want to tweak it a bit:
If you are a lover of art, you will want more time in Madrid. I was glad to have 2 full days in Toledo, YMMV. Two days doesn't sound like much for Sevilla, but of course, it really depends on your interests. I haven't been to Barcelona yet, but am worried that 5.5 days won't meet my needs. I haven't yet been to, and am not currently planning for, Cadiz/Costa de la Sol or Valencia, so I can't comment on them.
I agree with yorkshire about the sunsets in Ronda. Sooo gorgeous!!!
You should have a great trip no matter what you decide!
