14 days in Ireland
We are planning a car trip for 14 days in Ireland and would like to stay in the center of towns so we can walk to the restaurants and pubs. What suggestions for B&Bs do you have in Kilkenny, Kinsale, Killarney, Tralee, Galway, and Doolin? Also, suggestions please for a nice hotel in Dublin in a good central location.

I'd actually skip Tralee, and Doolin. Kilkenny is lovely, as is Kinsale. I'd substitute Kenmare for Killarney (less touristy, good food), and then Ennis for Doolin (more options), and perhaps Salthill (a suburb of Galway). But I'm not much of a big-city person.

I would not miss Killarney, personally. I loved it. Great shops, restaurants, centrally located, and gorgeous scenery. We stayed at Kathleens Country House and thought it was great! In Dublin, we stayed at the Conrad just off St. Stephen's Green. It was a great location and the room was really nice and clean. Breakfast was great too. Have a wonderful trip.

We were happy with Cassidy's in Dublin, LOVED Cariglea B and B in Kilkenny, and enjoyed the Park House Hotel in Galway. All of these were very centrally located and in walkable locations. We were unable to find a good B and B in central Galway-most of the nicer ones seemed to be some distance from town, which is why we selected a hotel instead.
