13 days Trip, Italy, Austria, Germany, Slovakia - Advice me the best

Jump to last reply

I penciled in a 13 days Europe trip, below is my Itinerary. I want you guys to shoot some holes on them, suggest the best route, cheapest rail fare or any other mode of transport.
How would you alter it?
Whats worth it and whats not?
Where to cut days, where to add days?
What rail pass or rail saver I should be getting, I want it cheapest?

18 Dec - Depart from UK on flight to Milan. Overnight here
19 Dec - Day at leisure in Milan. Overnight here
20 Dec - Take morning train to Verona (not sure the travel time), Day leisure, then take night to Innsbruck.
21 Dec - Arrive Innsbruck. Day leisure here. Overnight here
22 Dec- Day leisure & skiing in Innsbruck Alps. Overnight here
23 Dec - Take morning train to Munich (not sure the travel time). Overnight here
24 Dec - Day leisure in Munich. Evening train to Salzburg (not sure the travel time). Overnight here
25 Dec - Day leisure in Salzburg. Overnight here
26 Dec - Day leisure in Salzburg. Evening train to Vienna. Overnight here
27 Dec - Day leisure in Vienna. Overnight here
28 Dec - Day leisure to Vienna. Overnight here.
29 Dec - Morning train to Bratislava. Overnight here
30 Dec - Day leisure in Bratislava. Overnight here
31 Dec - Return home to uk

Is there any place a must see which I'm missing on this Itinerary ?
Is the morning & night train travel the best for the said journey?

Personal info, I'm male single backpacker. So I'm flexible to travel.

Please kindly suggest your thought and help me to formulate this itinerary much better.

Thanks in advance.
Babu
