What will you drive across the Irish Sea? That makes a big difference.

OKaaaaaay? "10 nights in the UK" but you think you want to drive to Dublin????

I'll take a stab here -- by ANY chance did you mean you want to drive to Edinburgh and stay in castle type B&Bs?

If you really did mean Dublin I think you need to go back to the drawing board

Janis We are planning to take the ferry from fishguard. My thoughts are to arrive in london, stay somewhere near bath the first night, cross the ferry to ireland, drive througn kerry, kilkenney, kildee, dingle?, etc to dublin. then drive back to london for three nights. I am just starting to plan my itenery so I am open to any suggestions. Many thanks for your help. Frank

Another question if you don't mind. Is it possible to take a ferry from dublin to liverpool and then a train back to london (from liverpool)? I'm sorry if my questions sound silly but i have learned if you don't ask you don't learn. We usually take one big vacation a year and each time this site has been a great help. Many thanks again, Frank
