1 nite in Naples - Need hotel
 

Hello,
We will be staying in Naples for 1 night and need to be at the airport for a 7am flight to Venice.

Can anyone recommend a moderately priced hotel (we are a family of 4...two adults, 2 teens).

We are staying at the airport for one night at the Millennium Gold Hotel, booked through Venere.com for 138 euros for a double. We don't want to find out how long it really takes to get from Naples center to the airport!

Thanks so much. Millenium Gold sounds great, but unfortunatley, they can't accomodate 4 in a room :(
I might just contact the hotel directly and ask if they can put a cot in the room.

Going straight to the hotel reduced the cost to 120 per night

I also want to stay one night in Napoli and then head to Sorrento. Still deciding whether to stay in Chiaia or Stazione Centrale.

Is Chiaia area close to the major attractions? How about the traffic to the circumvesuvio train station to Sorrento?

If I stay in Stazione Centrale, how far is it from the major sites? Usually how much is the taxi fare to get back to the hotel from the sites at night? Is the safety is really so bad in this area?

If you go to www.mappy.com you can get walking distances from anywhere in Naples to the major sights.

I've been told that the area around the train station is very seedy and has some problems with drug dealers.
