1 MORE SLEEP - THEN OFF TO MY FIRST TRIP TO ITALY

Yikes - the time went so quickly. I have had to much fun planning this trip thanks to all the Fodorites. In fact, we are meeting with one in Venice for dinner!
I have purchased a cute travel diary and promise to keep notes and send in a detailed trip report when we return!
Rome, Tuscany, Venice!

Hello Mishka, my best wishes go with you as you visit Italy for the first time! I always think the first visit to Italy is the most magical one of all! Enjoy every moment.

Mishka - I just got back on Tuesday from my first trip to Italy and it was great and cant wait to go back!

Have a wonderful and safe trip.
My husband and I went in May and as I was sitting here reading through the posts, he asked when we were going back. We had a great time and I hope you do too!

Does "1 more sleep..." mean the night that you'll try to sleep before you leave?
If so, what's your secret? I can never sleep before I leave, I can't sleep on the plane so I'm like a zombie my first day but a happy zombie.

I am Kane - a trip report for sure! Deborah Ann - we will be there the same time. What hotel are you staying at? Are you going with family?
L84SKY - sleep will only happen in my imagination - I have so much energy today I cleaned out every closet in the house, cut grass and then just rent for a 5 mile run. I should get this excited more often!!!!!
Ciao!!!!! Trip report to follow around November 15th. Keep posted as it should be interesting. My husband has NEVER travelled outside of Canada and has no idea what he is in for.
