Windstar Cruise - Rome to Istanbul -- in May. Too Cold??
Hello
We are considering a cruise on the Windsurf from May 10 to May 20. We are afraid the weather might be too cold to sit by the pool or to eat dinner outside. We would appreciate any comments.
Thank you

I am cruising in early May on the Carnival Legend and I too am concerned about the weather. May is considered "shoulder" season and the weather should be delightful for excursions, perhaps not for the pool.

The last time I was in Europe during late May, the weather was rainy some days and hot and clear other days. I had a very rainy time in Santorini, but I never needed to wear a jacket except for one evening. I guess it just means that you never really know, but my experience is that the weather that far south is warm but not too hot, making it perfect during the day to sit by the pool and relax.
