Windjammer for kids?

Does anyone know if kids are allowed on Windjammer cruises? I think it would be nice for them, but from I hear the ships can be a little dangerous, what with the sails hoisting, waves, and tiny bathrooms. My older one is 3 and the baby is 13 months. I know that's young but I was thinking of asking my grandmother to come along to help. Any advice?
Why would you bring a young kid on any cruise? Dumb-asses like you need to receive harsh responses to make it clear that kids should not be on such cruises.

I know that Windjammer does Jr. Jammer cruises in the summer specifically catering to families and children. However, I agree that the ships could possibly be a bit dangerous for those as young as yours. Maybe try to contact Windjammer and get their input on it.

Good luck.
Children and granny? You better re-think. And anyway, children under six are not allowed.

Paul
