Wow intersting reads here. I love alaska and is isn't all that cold. We went Kayaking for a side trip and it was awesome. Being near an iceberg doesn't mean it's freezing cold. Spend a few night nights in Vancouver on the way as this is a gorgeous city.

I have to admit that I was a reluctant Alaska cruiser myself. Where I live, we have plenty of snow storms, ice storms and blizzards every year.

I received a free cruise once and could choose between Alaska and the Caribbean. I featured I would never pay to go to Alaska so decided to use the cruise on that and fell in LOVE with Alaska.

Really, if you have not tried it - you should! I never thought I would love it but it is incredible!
