Which Cruise line to Holy Land 2009?
 

I am ineterested in taking Mom (relatively good health; good traveler) on a Holy Land Cruise. Main interest is to visit Jerusalem, Nazareth, and Galilee.

Any ideas? Any experiences?

We did that cruise on Holland American in 2000. Princess goes there, also Celebrity. Any of those lines are decent.

You won't be sorry with that itineray. For me, that cruise was my most memorable.

linda-- thanks for your kind reply. I checked the various lines you mentioned and they have Haifa and Ashrod as stops.

How far is Jerusalem, Nazareth, Galilee from these port(s)?

Those are the names of the ports for Jerusalem, Nazareth and Galilee. I can't remember exactly, but Haifa might be the one for Nazareth and Ashdod for Jerusalem. We took the ship's tours and were transported by bus to those cities. I don't remember them being THAT far from the ports.

Lindam is correct - Ashdod is for Jerusalem and Haifa for the north. We are taking an Azamara Journey cruise in October which includes those ports.
