When the cruise documents will arrive?
 

I searched, but the latest post I found is from 2002.

I'll be sailing on Monarch, Royal Caribbean, out of LA on January 15 - 45 days from now. Should I worry the paperwork is not here yet?

Is there a way to look up on the website if they were mailed out if I bought the cruise direcly from RC?

It will come, usually 2-3 weeks before the cruise. If you are really worried, call your travel agent or the cruise line, and they will give you some idea when your papers will arrive. ((b))

Thank you, Budman, I didn't know they send them THAT late! I think I saw somewhere on the internet 50 days... I won't worry for another 2 weeks then, and call them a month before sailing to confirm I'm still scheduled for the take-off :)

We didn't get our stuff for our Bermuda cruise until about 2 weeks before the cruise, but they sent them to our travel agent who then had to forward them to us. I reread your post to see that you went thru the cruise line direct, so you may get your Docs 3-4 weeks. Enjoy the cruise, and bring a few bottles of wine for your stateroom. Cheers. ((b))

If you made your own air arrangements, you usually get your docs sooner than if RC did the air/sea package. Don't be alarmed if they come around 2 weeks prior to the cruise. I've actually received docs 7 to 10 days from the sail date. Most docs today are "e" docs, which means less paper. Just make sure everything on the e-docs is correct. Have a great cruise and enjoy every minute !

We are going on the new NCL Pearl end of Jan. We receieve our documents via email this week. Went through cruisedeals.com I am sure yours they will arrive shortly.

I asked them to mail, not to e-mail... is this a mistake?

I had a "last minute deal" and the company didn't have time to even send me my luggage tags let alone the tickets. So at the pier they gave me some tags and when I got to the counter my name was in the computer and I didn't have one bit of trouble. I did bring all the paper work that I had from the cruiseline , just in case.

Most "documents" now are souvenir material, nothing req to board unless you are looking for airline times they booked for you. Faina, if you have not already, go to www.rccl.com and do the Online check in and that creates your boarding pass you print out. Bring that and Proof of Citizenship and you are good to go. If you are a few days before sailing and have no dox, they can email you, just let them know. Have fun !

Yeah, I have the sail pass printed. I thought they will send some booklets with maybe the ship plan so I can familiar with it, maybe a list of tours with more details then on the web, or something. Oh, well...

Got my "documents" yesterday - a small wire book with 1,000 suitcase lables, short sailing info, a loooooooong list of gifts and tours (more info on tours then on the web, I like it) and a loooooooong disclaimer. 35 days before sailing.

It would be nice to have a color floor plans. None of that nature. I guess I'll have to print those ugly black-and-white plans posted on the internet.

Oh, yeah, and if anybody wants to call my cabin, the 888 number will charge $8 a minute!

FA...There is usally a Deck Plan placed in the cabin.Maybe on the desk/dresser.

Oh, just following the advice to get familiar with the plans before the sail. You can tell it WILL BE my first cruise and I don't know what I'm doing :))

FA.... I love cruising and I think you will too.What I always do is board at the very earliest moment.Then go to my cabin and get the deck plan and set out exploring.I know you'll enjoy it.
