What's the catch?

Cruises to Northern Europe are quite pricey, especially when the ship sails in Summer and ports in Russia. But, we just found a deal from Online Vacation Center that is so H-O-T, we could hardly wait to tell you about it. If you book by May 19, you can sail on upscale Holland America for only $899. With this deal, you'll save $1000 off the average going rates -- making this one of best deals we've ever seen for this type of cruise.
The ms Amsterdam sails 10-Nights R/T Copenhagen on June 22. Ports of call include Muuga (Tallinn), Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia (2-days); Helsinki, Finland; Stockholm (Nynashamn), Sweden; Visby, Sweden; Berlin, Germany; Arhus, Denmark.

For just $50 more on June 22, you could also take a 12-Night cruise from Copenhagen to Rotterdam aboard the ms Rotterdam. Ports of call include Muuga (Tallinn), Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia (2-days); Helsinki, Finland; Stockholm (Nynashamn), Sweden; Berlin, Germany; Arhus, Denmark; Oslo, Norway; Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Both ships were ranked among the "Best Medium Ships" on Conde Nast Traveler's 2006 Cruise Poll.

do you work for them? This looks very much like advertising to me!

Ziana May 10th, 2006 09:14 AM

It IS advertising. Subscribe to Travelzoo Top20 and you will get it every week. Gosh...people!

No advertising on this forum. It's one thing to "share" information & quite another to reprint an ad.

Ziana May 10th, 2006 10:37 AM

Please, define sharing an add from advertising. I saw the add - I decided to ask where is the catch and if this add seems worth calling about.
WHY are you patronizing issues that do not need patronizing? Who appointed you to be a forum police? WEW!

Actually its not that big a savings. This rate is for an inside cabin. On Yahoo! travel the same cruise with an inside cabin is $964.00.

Thanks, this is what I was looking for. So they taking 'broshure' price as everyone else? I want to see that 'broshure', anyone else?
