What to consider for baltic cruise?
 

I have decision paralysis right now. We want to go out Copenhagen, and I see 3 good itineraries on the Norwegian star, Royal Caribbean serenade of the seas, and royal princesses regal Princess.

Cons: I read the Star is an older ship with not great food.

Serenade spends 3 days in St P - I know I need 2 full days; 3 is getting expensive.

Princess docks 1 hour from Stockholm so has shorter time there.

Is there anything in specific I should be considering? Any suggestions for me?

Is it the Regal Princess? If so that's a brand new ship and she's a beauty. Despite the long time to get to Stockholm I would go with Princess just for the new ship. Anyway in Stockholm you can see the Vasa museum and right behind it is a water taxi to Gamla Stan, the old town so you make up time that way.

We recently went to our TA for a Princess presentation and man the Regal and Royal, their newest ships, sister ships BTW, are beautiful. For me it's a no brainer. Go with Princess.

Other considerations, if I am looking at itinerary:

Oslo and Aahurs v. extra (3rd) day in St. Pete, Visby and Klaipeda (and more time in Stockholm) (all other ports are same)

I think SPB for two days is packed but adequate.

What ship goes to Oslo, Aahurs, Visby and Klaipeda?

Ok so it's Princess that goes to Oslo and Aahurs, right?

I would say go on the Regal. No doubts for me.,

We been on all three lines and Princess gives the best cruise experience. We were on the Royal Princess last year and it is a beautiful ship, we've also been on the Serenade and the Star and both put on a very nice cruise. Having said that, when cruising Europe, the ship and cruise experience are less important than the ports, so choose based on itinerary and price. I'm sure you'll have a great time regardless which you choose.
