What is ther to do in Colon, Panama?

Will be in Colon Panama on a Carnival cruise stop in January. Any suggestions on what to do for the day? What, if anything, is at or close to the port? Any suggested local tour operators?

Was in Colon last month. Took the "Two Oceans" tour and highly recommend it. Takes about 5+ hours, a little pricey, but great visuals of the canal and Pacific ocean.
The port area is quite modern, with a good range of shopping available, from refrigerators to native carvings. Temperature in Colon was very hot, and the $1 cans of Panama beer sold outside the shopping tereminal will help to cool off. This was my favorite port.

Do not miss - we took the ferry through the locks. It was the highlight of our cruise. Not to be missed. It is so amazing.
