What cruise line to use?
My wife and I are interested in taking an Eastern Caribbean cruise and are looking for info on cruise lines. We have taken a Holland America cruise where we found the food and ship were fantastic but the crowd was a bit too old. Next we took a Carnival cruise where the quality of everything was "basic" but the crowd was younger. Is there a cruise line "in between" that offers above average quality and caters to the 35 to 55 years of age group?
Thanks,
Roy

Roy,

You and your wife may enjoy Princess, Celebrity or Royal Caribbean. There are many other cruise lines, but the above would be in the 'ballpark' price (depending on accommodations) as Holland America.
All of these cruise lines have websites for your to explore.

Yes, it sounds like you will enjoy Royal Carribean or Princess. I have been on 2 RCCL with my husband and can not say enough. We are trying Princess in Oct. We will NEVER go back to Carnival. Just very tacky, and crowds are too rowdy, and we are in our late 20's! Try either RCCL, Princess. Can't go wrong. I've herd Celebrety has a lot of"old" folks on that though.

My husband and I have been on Celebrity several times and will ONLY cruise with them. They cater to all ages. We just came back from Alaska and there were infants all the way to oldsters. They offer something for everyone. Plus, they are rated #2 by Conde Naste' all around. Crystal Cruises are rated #1 but they are very expensive!
