Website to use to find a Greek island cruise
I tried Cruise critic but my search criteria (May to July 2025, 6+ nights and "greece") found very limited cruises with prices. So maybe I am using it wrong
I tried Cruise guru.... sorry I am STILL trying cruise guru but its such a clunky site for me to use and is hard for me to work out how to narrow down beyond "Mediterranean east" or west without specifying a departure port and I don't want to do that. Looking to find replies from those with experience on doing this Thanks |
You don't say what you mean by CruiseCritic showing a "limited number" of 6+ day Mediterranean cruises between May and the end of July (2025) but a quick search showed they had at least 13 different options to choose from in that time frame.
If you don't mind searching by a particular month at a time (vs. the three month period May 1 thru July 31, 2025) try going to iCruise.com. A quick search there shows about 164 different options for cruises of 6 or more days just in the month of May alone. June had 197 cruises and July had 182. Hope this helps. |
When I search it doesn't show a price for most of them - I must be doing something wrong or maybe it is regionally set up to not give me a price or something
Thank you for that suggestion - I am preferring a one month search but extended to longer to increase my chances so thanks for that |
I use Vacations To Go. You will need to register to use the search but I believe you can decline emails.
Using the "Show Me The Deals" box, specify Mediterranean All and then include Athens as a "port or places to visit". You can also specify whether you want to return to the same port. That calls up many more cruises than you've found and prices are listed. You can change the pricing, eg to balcony, single, etc...To see the itinerary, click on the left column under "Fast Deal". Once you've called up the list, you can sort multiple ways, cruise line, price, departure port, etc. If you find something you like there, you can either book by calling and use their agents or directly with the cruise line or another agent. I do have a preferred agent at VTG but anyone I've spoken to at VTG has seemed knowledgeable (more so than random cruise line agents who seem mostly new and uniformed). And definitely don't use Expedia, lol... |

When you go to this page, on the left side, bargain box, you can choose dates and Greek Islands. You can narrow it by number of days, ports, specific islands, etc., then check show me the deals. Just for May and June, of 2025, a couple hundred cruises that make at least one or two stops in Greek Islands came up. This is always my first go to web site because it is so easy to use and so comprehensive. Be mindful of arrival and departure times at different islands. Choose arrival and departure ports that will also be interesting for a few days. We loved Istanbul as a departure port, but Athens would also be good and we enjoyed a week in Italy before departing from Venice (area). If you have specific islands you want to visit, you might include those in your search. Do you have a particular style of ship in mind? |
VTG is also my recommended search website. The agents should match any other offer for On Board Credit if you ask.

thanks - early search is good on VTG

Their search tool lets you pick "Mediterranean" and then filter down by things like port visits (Athens, Mykonos, etc.) and trip length. It’s a bit old-school too, but way more transparent with pricing and easier to fine-tune. Also, sometimes prices don’t show because the cruise lines haven’t published them that far out yet; this is especially true for shoulder season dates. Hope that helps a bit. Happy to suggest more if needed! |
