Vancouver post-cruise hotel (tried Canada board, no one is there)

Looking for centrally located hotel with real suites - perhaps 2 bedroom - for 2 night post-cruise stay for 2 parents and 17 and 22 year old near-adults. We will likely have had way too much togetherness after 2 weeks in Alaska. (I know I could get 2 hotel rooms)

Hi Gail - If you go to west coast departures on cruisecritic.com you will find some great help from the local residents regarding hotels. I'm sure they can help you with your particular needs.

Good luck and be ready for sticker shock!

A couple of years ago, we were able to get a terrific rate at the Marriott Pinnacle on Priceline after our Alaska cruise. Given that the US$ has weakened considerably vis-a-vis the Canadian$, the rate is certainly not as good, but I just looked on Priceline, and they don't look too bad. Might be worth exploring.

Thanks. Everyone on Canadian board must still be hibernating.

Loved the Hampton Inn in Vancouver where we stayed a couple of years ago, although not for cruise purposes.

Gorgeous, harborview two bedroom suites here. Perfect way to end the trip, worth the splurge.

Hi Gail,
Century Plaza and Times Square Suites have 2 bedroom suites. Both look very nice and have decent reviews.
