You might be on a wrong board. If you mean cruises, meals are always included.

I found vacationstogo to be quite efficient. We had e tickets within 30 min of booking, and had no problems calling our agent for any necessary requests or changes. We plan on using them again.

Vacationstogo is a very reputable, very aggressive (i.e., low-priced) agency. I would recommend checking http://www.CruiseCompete.com before you book through--you might find other agencies that can beat their prices on particular sailings.

I have used vacationstogo.com twice. They have been very good. They do not include port charges which some other sites include. Al Gamm has been a wonderful agent at vacationstogo.

Vacationstogo claims that vacation book price is $1200 (which is complete bull) and they sell you for $600 so you save with Vacationstogo about %50% which is a complete bull because you can go and peel your yeys all you want but there is NO SUCH A PRICE!!! and ANY I mean ANYbody have the same prices. Except you don't have to create memberhip and feel like James Bond.

Zianna offer good advice. You should always peel your yeys all you want. There's nothing worse than an under-peeled yey!

Nope. Savings are rarely more than about 10% with any agency, as most of the savings comes from travel agent commissions rebated in one way or another. Even when agents are holding group space, savings are rarely more than 12%-15%.

Of course, the best agents will even peel your yeys for you--now that's service!

checked your friend Bonnie`s rates, and vacationstogo, and it was the same price. Our vacationstogo agent was really good too, and we could call or email him, and he got right back to us. We even had a follow up email when we returned. I guess the trick is to just keep checking, and go with whoever will give you the best deal.

I think the key is when you look at websites the prices are the same but if you contact them they can possibly give you a lower rate than is advertised,it's always worth contacting someone, I think.

I did hear that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity don't allow agents to discount their rates anymore so I don't think you'll see much discounting with those lines on price.

It's true that Royal and Celeb don't allow cash rebates. However, both do allow onboard credits up to 10% of the total cruise fare. This includes "casino credits" (i.e., walk into the casino and they hand you cash).

Mom247 is correct--the cruise lines allow agents more pricing flexibility over the phone or in other one-to-one communication (i.e., responses to individual requests for quotes) than they do in general advertisements.

We just used Vacationstogo to book our Alaska cruise for fall. I contacted a number of agents for information about both Alaska and Mediterranean cruises. We received the best customer service from Vacationstogo by far and when we booked, the agent took plenty of time with me to help determine what options were best for us. It was a very pleasant experience.
