Useful /helpful items for cruise
I am taking my 1st cruise in August(Royal Caribbean balcony suite)and wondering if there are any "must haves" that I might not think to bring.

Thanks!

sewing kit
|
Binoculars, small pair.
|
Clothes pin to keep curtains closed--thermal water bottle (great for around the pool)
alarm clock (as a back up to the ship's wake-up call to get to excursions that you must not be late for).
hand sanitizers---
ziplock bags--
bubble wrap for that fragile purchase you might make---
duck tape (many uses)
And be sure to take a good sense of humor!!!

hand sanitizers? alarm clock? bubble wrap? is duck (duct) tape for broken fowl? it's a vacation...don't worry if you don't have the duck tape to tie the bubble wrap around the hand sanitizers when the alarm clock goes off!!!

First of all beprepped - get a life.

Secondly, another person on this message board gave a good tip, buy an over-the-door shoe organizer from Walmart or some dept. store so that you can use it for shoes or other little miscellaneous things to keep you organized. I'll take this advice too.

Plus all the above mentioned items, be sure you bring a fishing pole to troll off your balcony, a small grille for weenies, a cooler of food,a couple suitcases of beer(look for Nanette's post on how to smuggle beer, she is a one time cruiser-expert)and above all as one poster said, your sense of humor.
|
An extension cord. The wall plugs are
never convenient to where you want to use your curling iron, portable steamer, etc.

|
Moist Towlettes are available from the casino cage.

Don't forget the small flashlight.

There was a rather lengthy discussion recently of the "must haves" and why posted on the pet peeve thread. I think a few things not listed here were mentioned. I'll find it and take it to the top for you.
