Uhm do we bring our own toothpaste?

What exactly does Holland America provide by way of toiletries?

Shaving cream?
Shampoo?
Toothpaste?
Soap?

I have seen soap and shampoos, cannot recall toothpaste and shaving cream!

Maybe some one with better eyes than mine can be more helpful.!

We were on HAL last year but I don't remember the shampoo and certainly no toothpaste or shaving cream.

Several years ago we were on HAL on a repositioning trip. They did have soap and shampoo. After a few days, the cabin attendant was not putting shampoo in the bathroom. When I asked about getting more shampoo, I was told that they were running out and I needed to buy my own shampoo at the next port. I do not know if this is normally or not.

I would bring all my own toiletries. HAL is one line we haven't been on but most ships now have a shampoo dispenser in the shower. I take mine in a small plastic bottle. They do have soap but the bars are small, like a hotel's. We take Dial and my Olay in zip lock bag. Never seen shaving cream, and Carnival are the only ships we've ever been on that might have toothpaste (Crest). Carnival has more bathroom items that any other line - razors, toothbrushes, the toothpaste, hand creams, etc. Some lines only have soap and the shampoo dispenser! You can get tiny tubes of toothpaste. Again, bring your own then you have what you use and want.

HAL stocks the cabin with spa quality Elemis products and plenty of it! Excellent products and I never bring my own on HAL.
