Travel agents for Costa?

Hi, we are considering a cruise on the Costa Luminosa next year in the Western Med. We have spoken to Costa Cruises to get a preliminary quote. However, I was wondering if someone could suggest names of travel agents who can offer good deals for cruises, including Costa. I have read articles indicating that for a cruise, it's best to go with a travel agent who can offer you a better deal than the internet or booking thru the cruise line direct. Thanks for your help!

Most of the agents should be able to discount Costa prices. You can e-mail my agent Alex [email protected].

I'd suggest you try http://www.cruisecompete.com. CruiseCompete allows you to select the sailing you want, then let agents compete to offer you the best deal. You can also read reviews of agents before deciding who to contact for more information or to book.

However, please read some reviews of Costa before you decide if it's for you. It's not for everyone...

Costa is probably the one line that I wouldn't use. Their customer service is abysmal and they don't give a damn once they've got your money. There are lots of good cruise lines in the Med at that time of the year, so I'd give Costa a big swerve!
