Transportion from Nice Airport to Port of Nice

My wife and I will be cruising on the Windsurf in July from Nice. I need transportation from the Nice airport to the Port of France. Your thoughts and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

A taxi is always so stressful after transatlantic flights and you never know if you have a reputable service, especially dealing with less than fluent English. I have several contacts in Nice and southern France that offer private transfers and a driver.

It is so nice to have someone to meet you at the airport with your name on a sign, they assist you with your luggage to the car and then, to the ship. They also give you a lovely private tour of the city on the way to your destination with lots of insider information and local color. It is often only slightly more expensive than taking a taxi, but so much more enjoyable!

Best Regards,
Julia

Taking a taxi is very simple; the route is straight right from the airport along the Promenade des Anglais to the port.

tcvw-
A taxi is a piece of cake in Nice-
We have done it twice..

They pick you up at the airport and it IS a straight shot to the port as another post stated....

I have also done this and agree that a taxi is the easy option.

A taxi is just too easy to do it any other way. We did this last summer. There were four of us and a lot of bags and it just worked so well...

I don't think there's any reason to think the taxi service might not be "reputable."

We paid about 15€ from our hotel near Vieux Nice to the airport, and the port isn't much farther than that.
