The Norway is back , worth taking??
Hi: The ss Norway has supposedly had a multi-million dollar facelift. The prices are good for Jan/02 and I am wondering if it is good ship to take our family on. We are looking to do a family vacation with three boys 18,16 and 12. We can bring the ss Norway in a little under our budget. Would there be enough to do?? The ports are St Thomas, ST Martin and then the private Island Gr.Stirrup Cay. The other cruise in our price range would be the Sundream from Montego bay any info on either ship would be great. Thanks Karen
Hi Karen,

No one knows what the Norway will be like after it is refurbished.

The ship certainly needs quite a bit of work.

We are all waiting patiently.

The Sundream is owned by Airtours who owns quite a few very old ships. I never read of any upgrades to their fleet. I also read that their cruises are below average. Possibly some one that has taken one of their ships can reply.

If I were to choose between the two cruise lines, I would go with NCL.

There is plenty to do on all the islands.

Paul
