Staterooms
First cruise, I will be on celebrity constellation, where are the best staterooms? Any advice on this ship? How do you dress for dinner?

Because my husband sometimes suffers from motion sickness, the best cabin for us is as low and midships as possible.
We enjoy a balcony for room service breakfast and having a glass of wine before dinner. For some people, the biggest cabin is the best. Others like to be fore or aft. |
If you are looking for first time cruise info, you might want to try
"Cruise Critic" web site. |
Norbert, knowing that you have potential motion sickness issue, book lowest level deck possible, with mid-ship. Avoid being next to public area or major thoroughfares. Your choice would be limited and not ideal, but it beats getting sick.

Here's a link for you - about the Constellation, on www.cruisecritic.com:
http://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/...cfm?ShipID=272 You'll find information as to how people tend to dress for dinner on that particular ship, and a link to some detailed information on the cabins. |
We were on Connie last December for a transatlantic cruise. We loved the ship and would definitely cruise her again. Where will u be cruising on Connie? If u have any sensitivity to motion I would suggest u book a mid ship cabin and lower is better. We enjoy balcony cabins if on a longer cruise so we can sit and enjoy our sailing, have a glass of wine, read, or just do nothing. Sometimes pool areas are crowded so it's nice to have balcony if u aren't lounging by pool or solarium.
We were on deck 7 starboard side and it was close to elevators as well and very quiet. European or transatlantic cruises are more formal than Caribbean cruises and we had 3 formal nights. Cocktail dresses or dressy pants and tops for ladies and gentlemen wear tuxes or suits w/ shirt and tie. I would b happy to give u more info on the constellation if u like. Cruise critic is a good source as well. I would b happy to give u my email to answer any other questions for u about cabin selection, etc. It's very exciting to b going on your first cruise! |
