Star Princess, 30 day cruise, reviews please

Can anyone who has sailed on the 30 day Star Princess cruise from Australia, to New Zealand, Tahiti, Fiji, Samoa, Hawaii and ending in Los Angeles, please give their thoughts or review. Thanks.

I have sailed on the Star Princess, a lovely ship. But not on this particular cruise, though we did do a 22 day cruise with a very similar itinerary. That was on the Sea Princess this year. We left from Auckland, NZ. Although the cruise did originate from Sydney and went around NZ, and from comments made by others onboard, they were very pleased with that part of the cruise. We did Fiji, American Samoa, Tahiti, Hawaii and ended up in San Francisco. And we really enjoyed ourselves
Hopefully this is of some help to you. The Star is a larger ship than the Sea is. And I'd not hesitiate to go on the Star again. As it was, friend's who live in Vancouver were able to go up the coastline on the Star, and it cost less for them than it would have to fly!!. They'd not been on her before, and said they too were very impressed and it was everything I said it was!. Saying that, there is a lot to be said for the Sea as well. Smaller ships mean less standing in line for all sorts of things. Easy to get around and as good as the larger ships, as almost everything is on hand that we would like, as it is on the others. It might be a preference thing, but we were happy on the Sea too. The food was excellent, waiters and all staff really were very attentive and friendly etc. Both ships are charming in their own way. So Bon Voyage!.
