This forum may not allow you to publicize a specific agency or cruise line or allow one to solicit a person to share your cabin (which I want to do for a long trip ) so I started at thread on Cruisemates.com with the same title (under seeking cruise companion) and if anyone is interested please look for the thread.

No, I am not an employee of either the cruise ship or travel agency but I AM soliciting for someone who might possibly want to share a cabin with me, for about three months, if alone, it would cost me over 30K, if I share a cabin it would be a little over 15K, and it NOT like Waterbnb, as bnb are run by private individuals not regular companies and in this case these are run by major cruiselines. One can stay on the ships indefinitely but I can not afford that.

The apartment up the hallway from us was rented and run as an Airbnb site (advertised, with great reviews btw) so I imagine that a "Waterbnb arrangement" might be a goer as well - at least until the shipping company got wind of it - the renters up the hall were out of there quick smart one day, but Waterbnb sub-letters could never be sure they'd be in swimming distance of land when the game was up.
