Southern Caribbean Cruise Excursion Help!
Two-30 something professional couples headed to Southern Caribbean cruise Aug 14, 2011. We leave from San Juan to the islands of Barbados, St lucia, St martaan, St John, and St Croix. We love the beach but also like to do excursions, but don't want to book while one the cruise. We'd love to have the excursions planned before we leave. IN the past, I have done snorkeling, zip lining, bike da volcano, hiked mountain and island caldra's, wine tours, maya ruin tour, did helicopter rise, 4 wheelers, motorcycle tours.... basically up for anything active. Not up for too many museums or BORING city tours. We would like to get off the ship early and get back around 5 when the ship leaves. Ok, so who has suggestions? Thanks in Advance!!!

OK. First of all I assume you mean St. John Antigua as opposed to USVI, correct. Ptivate tours are the way to go anf I have three recs for you. In Antigua look up this guy, Gordon. We took a private tour w/ him and he is the best. Check out his website and contact him to make an arramgement you will love him. he is friendly and customer oriented to be sure.

For St. Maarten try this gal, Joyce Prince. She arranged a driver for the 5 of us and we ended up with a small bus at our disposal but do look into stuff you prefer. She can arrange it.

My fiance and I did zip lining in St Lucia which was incredible. They have 11 lines to ride and it is beautiful. I recommend that excursion on St Lucia. In Barbados we took a boat out to an area where we swam and snorkeled with turtles and enjoyed a relaxing time on one of their beaches after our snorkel. It was our last stop on our cruise so enjoying it on the beach along with swimming in the water was perfect. Enjoy your trip!!!

Try the "Harleys in Paradise" tour in St. Martin. You can book it thru the cruise line, but it's cheaper on their website. My DW and I booked this tour for our upcoming cruise on the Eclipse this Dec. We still enjoy the "action" tours too, and we're both 60 years young! Have a great cruise!
