When leaving the ship in Skagway how far is the walk into town or is the town right there?

You can walk to Skagway in 10 to 15 minutes. Skagway is a nice,clean port and easy to walk-around. I believe its only 5 or 6 streets wide and maybe 20 to 25 blocks (short blocks) long. It's a fun town to tour. Have a great time!

The rail dock can hold 3 ships, so if you're the third ship back it can be quite a walk if you have limitations. Easy without- probably 1/2 mile. There will be a shuttle $1 each way that drops off near the Park Service Visitor Center.
