Anybody been on both lines and can contribute a fair coparison? We have been on Seabourn and will sail Silversea soon ( which we've never sailed).

what did you think of Seabourn. We are considering them for Adriatic. Is it formal stuffy or just nice dress? where did you cruise with them?

hi shar. We sailed the seabourn Spirit from Singapore to Dubai in March this year. Seabourn is wonderfull! Service is great, the food is delicious and the passengers interesting. Certainly some people can be described as stuffy, but for the most part, my husband and I, in our mid forties were always invited for diner or lunch and met nearly all 180 passengers on board ( most could be our parents). Next year we have bought Silverseas because of the itinerary and because some people say both lines compete on all levels.
