sick at sea
MIAMI -- Hundreds of passengers aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship became sick this weekend after an apparent outbreak of the Norovirus, a gastrointestinal illness.

You can find out more info here:
http://www.cruisejunkie.com/events.html Cruisejunkie is a pretty good website that reports events at sea. |
Man, travelinwifey, I just spent about an hour on that site. If I had read it before now, I might not have booked a cruise in May!
|
While traveling on the Celebrity they had sanitizers BEFORE you boarded the ship and at the dining rooms...Then what again can you expect of RC--they blamed one passenger

Cd...I know, isn't it surprising! We were on the Grand Princess ship sailing Feb 11th with the sharp turn, those are some of our pics posted.
One thing that surprises me as reported on the website are the crew member suicides. There are a few this year already. I searched last year and there are more this year already than all of last year. There is another incident I read of with a HAL ship that wasn't reported on cruisejunkie. But yes, it does scare you from sailing! Then I also know that 30 million people cruise per year, so those stats are probably much less than the national average:) |
Yikes travelinwifey! When a big ship lists, she's so top heavy, it is scary.
What concerns me the most is all the norovirus. Had it once cruising Costa, do not want it again. |
Is there website for all plains that fell, blowed etc...
Also I would like to read up on broken legs while walking and don't forget www.caraccident.com... |
