Shore Excursions with Mother in Law

Hi all
Am traveling on the Millennium to the Carib. in August. Looking for shore excursions for my 84 year old mother in law. Want all of us to have fun. She wants the Mexican Folk Show in Cozumel and I just cringe. Any ideas?

Jayne,

What kind of shape is your mil in? If she is able-bodied, maybe she can go by herself or one family member who is interested in what she is interested in.

My parents are in that age group and would be fine by themselves. Hopefully this is the case for your mil.

If that doesn't work, maybe put what everyone wants to do in a hat and pick one out. That might be a good way to solve it.

JB

Hi Jayne,

Yes, those folkloric shows are pretty tacky but if that is all she is asking for, please the old lady and go. Someday you will be asking your kids to do a knitting class or something similar.

Paul
