Send Your Cruise Ship Reviews

A new website is asking people who have been on a cruise to send cruise ship reviews. Pretty cool, you can send feedback on a host of topics:

Does this site differ from cruisecritic?

FainaAgain Nov 5th, 2008 11:09 AM

I post all my reports here on Fodor's. Feel no need to liquid-ate them :)

Whatever works for you is best. That's the great thing about the net, lots of choices. I like Fodors and cruise critic because you get a lot of variety. Though, I do like the way liquid atlas is organized.

I have been at the site, Click on the cruise line and the ships. I can submit info but cannot read anything beyond the generic info about the ships that is availabe everyehere else. Cruise critic and here has a lot more info.

Liquidatlas on their info page states that "a way for past travelers to easily submit reviews" and "a single consolidated review for each cruise ship". You can submit review all you want, no one will get to read it.

They do ask for your email address and in return, I suspect you will receive spam mail on "cruise deals" as when you submit, you have to agree to the "term of use".

What you will find at the site is a lot of panel advertisings. So, here is my take on this site: It's an advertising site for discount cruises and the site get paid by click thoroughs.

MY OPINION: AVOID. Stay with Fodors and cruise critics.

Absolutely agree with Eschew =D>

I like the site and it's very well organized. Because they are new, I am guessing the reviews will add more information over time. I sent a review and it was very easy, no registration required.

After reading your post, I read the privacy policy on their site and it says clearly they won't share your information.

A far as the look of the website, I find it less cluttered than most and it has way less ads than cruise critic.

I selected a cruise ship review at random on cruise critic and the page had 7 ads. I still like cruise critic, but your point adbout ads is not correct. How does cruise critic make $. That's right all of them have advertizing.

Actually JJ I am wondering about one thing. Your first three posts here were all included this website. Do you work for liquidatlas?

Jacketwatch...that was funny.

I'm glad you liked that. Thank you. :-)
