Seeking Cozumel Advice

Jump to last reply

Hi experienced cruisers,

Has anyone explored Cozumel on their own when your cruise ship was at port?

. We are not really tour people, and since we already have a full day tour booked at another port, we would like Cozumel to be more laid back and "do your own thing." . I have found some ideas online, but was hoping someone that knows the city could offer a plan.

One person in our group has some mobility issues, so we can't walk everywhere, which is what we would normally do. I thought about renting a car or jeep for the day and exploring that way. Any thoughts on that?

Our interests include nice beaches and places to have a drink on the beach, shopping and good places to eat. Any special sites of interest would be neat, too.

Thank you!
