San Diego Pier
 

Can anyone tell me how far it is from the San Diego airport to the pier? Do I need to purchase transfers or would it be less expensive to take a taxi? There will be 4 people and luggage. I'm told the transfers will be $32 each, roundtrip. Thanks for your help.

The airport is really quite close to the pier. I think you might be better off just grabbing a cab - there are always tons of them available! I just don't see it costing as much as the transfers, but I could be wrong as I've never done that before!

Thanks, Bob. I kind of thought catching a cab would be cheaper than the cost of the transfers ($64 each way)! I guess you pay for the convenience of having someone meet you at the airport.

You can see the ship from the airport terminal. Cab would cost $7 each way. Spend the rest on Tequila. ;-)
