Royal Princess Cabin M424

I am looking for any information that someone can give on this cabin. I am interested in learning whether you can noises from the sea view bar located above the room. Any information someone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

While I want Fodor's Cruise Forum to have more traffic, you should also post your question on www.cruisecritic.com If you look at the reviews of the Royal Princess someone might have reviewed this specific cabin.

Wouldn't hurt to pose this question directly to Princess.

You made me curious somI looked at the Princess website but unfortunately deck plans for the Royal don't seem to load. I do agree to try cruise critic.

Usually we book cabins with passenger decks above and below us.

Good luck. Larry.

FWIW the bar looks small. Here's a video I found on you tube. I would stay in that room. It's a short hop to a really cool spot.

We were just on Royal beginning of April for a Caribbean cruise. We loved the ship and my DH and I don't normally book the larger ships (3600 passengers on Royal).

Here is a good website that shows you both Marina deck cabin and Lido deck. You will see that the Seaview Bar is not right over this cabin.

I use this website a lot when comparing cabins, amenities, etc.

We had a forward cabin and let me tell you that I wished we had a more mid ship location. We did a lot of walking from forward to aft and the walk is a lot longer than the diagrams of the ship appear.

I would not hesitate to book that cabin and think it would be an excellent location for you. You can either walk up the one flight to Lido or elevators are right outside your cabin. The elevators were annoying in that we were always waiting for one. You could easily walk up to Lido. Laundromat is in a great location from your cabin. We did laundry one day and the laundry is very nice compared to the older ships. Nice new machines and even a TV to watch! LOL You do not have to put any money in the machines, you select how many loads you want to do and it automatically puts charges on your shipboard account.

We thought the food was the best we've had on a ship. Lido deck food was better than average and be sure to go to the pastry shop on Lido for some "die for" goodies! We would eat our breakfast on the Horizon Terrace which is at the back of the Lido. Beautiful views and we didn't have a problem finding a table. We usually eat breakfast a couple of times in the dining room but did't this time because we enjoyed Lido deck food. JMO.....

We had a balcony cabin and found it to be much smaller than other balcony cabins we've had. It was not a big deal to us and we enjoyed having the balcony.

Hope this helps.
