Royal Olympic Cruiseline

Does anyone know if this cruise line is ending operations any time soon?

I don't know if they are ending or not, but I do know there is a bankruptcy issue. This is a shame because I have sailed the Olympia Voyager twice and really enjoyed it. Until the bankruptcy issue is resolved, I would not be brave enough to book with them. I remember when Premier Cruise Lines suddenly went under (no pun intended) and the people were put off the ship at various ports, having to provide their own transportation home. Not good.

They not only ended operations, the Voyager and Explorer were sold a few weeks back. The bank that carried the mortgage bought them and intends to re-sell them in the future.

Very interesting connette, thanks for that that update.

A friend of mine was on the Triton two weeks ago. I thought I read somewhere that the ship had been "detained," because of the bankruptcy and defaults on loan payments, etc. Anyone know anything about it?
