Royal Caribbean Navigator or Star Princess

Please help! Another family and I have four teens all together. We would like to cruise Presidents week. Do both cruises have teen clubs that keep them occupied? How's the food? RCCL seems much more $$. Is it worth it?

The ratings on both at cruise critc are exceptionally good with RC being a tad better but not much. For the $$ I'd go Princess. JM2C

I'm doing my first Princess cruise in Jan, so I can't compare yet. However, we've done the Navigator and 3 sister ships and last time took my 11 and 15 yr old. They loved it. They have tons of activities for teens- rock climbing wall, full court basketball, teen disco/lounge, ice skating, putt-putt, in-line skating, movie theatre and many more things. I never saw my kids until dinner, then at times they wanted to stay at Johnny Rocket's. The Navigator also has a dandy wine bar that makes Mommy and Daddy happy! The Promenade down the middle is also a lot of fun- a little shopping, music, people watching, parades. Really a great ship. All cruises will be more expensive that week, but try cruisecompete.com and see if you can get a better rate.

Being on both Voyager class and Grand class, I agree with LLindaC. With teens, definitely go with Navigator. It is worth extra money. Just check if you can save some if you choose Voyager or Explorer instead, as Navigator is a newer ship and cost is usually higher.
However, we (adults) liked Princess better because of more relaxing atmosphere and better food.
