Repositioning Cruises

My husband is considering signing up for a repositioning cruise in December from Spain to Puerto Rico and I am concerned about the Atlantic being rough that time of year. Has anyone had any experience with this.

Thanks

crossed the Atlantic several times in the Windstar, usually in Nov, and we had NO rough weather....water like glass. That is not to say it couldn't happen.

I agree with clarasong. We crossed the Atlantic twice in recent years, will again next April. Beautiful and smooth in spring, also the time we sailed in October. Hurricane season is pretty much over by December (live in Florida). Your captain will have all the right info in advance and can steer clear of rough seas. The big ships have great stablizers today. Have a nice sail!

Crossed from Barcelona to Miami last November and had one rough day out of 12.

Just tried my first repositioning crusie to Europe and now want to find one that leaves anywhere in the USA to China or Australia.
Can anyone suggest a cruise line to explore?

most important, I am looking for cruise lines that do not charge 100% single supplement!

I was told by a friend they were taking either Princess or HAL (I don't recall which)that that goes from Vancouver, BC to Australia.

LeeLau, you can go to Expedia, Cruises, Transpacific - you may find the cruise there.

As for single supplement, most of cruise lines charge less then 100% single supplements for inside cabins.
