Repositioning Cruise

Please give me some idea what this cruise is like. We have in mind Southampton to Us but it is November, so is it fair to say you are not likely to be sitting outside and what could you expect from the ocean.

Regarding sitting outside, depends on the route. We're on the Celebrity Eclipse departing Southampton on I think Oct. 28 and it's taking a northern route, Southampton to Boston, on to NYC, then swinging out to Bermuda, Bahamas and Miami. We did this same itinerary Nov. of 2015, not warm until nearing Bermuda around day 8.

It will probably be the same this year. When crossing the Atlantic I think we had one sunny day where it was okay to sit out in a sheltered area. It also was sunny sailing past the Statue of Liberty and up the Hudson, which was fantastic. Boston was also sunny but cold. Bermuda and Port Canaveral were warm. This year the Bahamas replace Port C.

Yes, check the route, if it is southerly, going to Florida, you may have more days when you can sit outside, especially in the latter stages of the cruise.

As far as what you can expect from the ocean - turbulence is likely, it is hurricane season in the Atlantic until the end of November at least. The captain can probably sail around the worst, but movement can be expected despite that and despite the stabilizers.
