Reply to Theresa on the Golden Princess

For some reason, I am having difficulty posting a reply. Time to upgrade my system I guess.

Thank you Theresa for your reply on the Golden Princess. I had read somewhere that there were no deck chairs on the Promenade deck, but had called Princess and they "promised" that there were lounge chairs on the Golden on that deck. But I have gotten false information from a cruise line before, so I appreciate your verification.

If anyone has additional info on the Golden or the Asian and Ocean Spa Rituals, please post.

Hi,

I was having problems responding to someone last night also.

I was on the Golden over Thanksgiving. I had read on the CC that they didn't have deck chairs on the promendade deck and that surprised me so I made sure I looked. I knew that I had spent a lot of time on the deck chairs on that deck on the Coral Princess in Alaska and was surprised.

When I think of deck chairs - I think of loungers. I did find a thread that discusses this that talks about benches on this deck but not loungers. I know the Coral Princess has loungers and so does the Sun Princess.

Just got off the Golden 2 weeks ago- I am almost postive I saw deck chairs up on Promenade deck when I looked up from the regular pool deck...there is the normal pool deck on the LIDO , then a 1/2 deck above the Lido that was chock full of deck chairs ( you have to walk down to get to the pool) and then another couple of steps was the walking deck that was surrounded by wind shields)...Hope this helps..

Promenade deck is deck 7 - not even close to the pools.

I think you are thinking of the Sun deck.
