regent navigator showers

I am planning an Alaska trip on the Regent Navigator. Because of mobility problems, it is very important that the showers do not have steps or ledges to go over in order to get in. I have received conflicting reports--one that those kinds of showers are only available in accessible rooms on the concierge level--and one that none of the showers in any room have steps or ledges.

I would appreciate hearing which is correct from anyone who has been there.

I would call them and ask. My friend went on a cruise and needed that type of shower. She cruised on Carnival. Good luck on your trip.

Most ships have handicap cabins. the showers are wheelchair accessible.

You have to request for accessible cabins. Almost all shower stalls have ledges.

Jean, not all handicap rooms have curbless showers. You would need to specifically ask that. Some have some type of tub, etc. My husband has mobility issues and we have sadly learned, through trial and error, that not all handicapped rooms are the same and not all reservation clerks/ customer service people are aware of the differences.
