Radiance of the Seas-Dry dock 2006?

We're planning a back to back on the Radiance of the Seas Nov. 2005. Our T/A said Radiance is going into dry dock Jan,or Feb. 2006. We really like the newer ships so we're a little uncertain what to expect on a ship that will be 4+ yrs. old. Any feed back appreciated.

Not sure of why you think a ship that's only four years old is old? While it isn't brand new, its not like many that major lines are operating that are 15, 20 or more years old and still doing OK. Perhaps you're getting that impression for the news that it will be in "dry dock" next year. Dry docking a ship is often done for work on the engines, etc. It does not necessarily mean the ship is old and run down. Hope this helps reduce your fears. A ship that's only 4 years old should be in fine shape if its kept up. :)

Having been on a cruise on Radiance of the Sea last January I think it is a wonderful ship. It is not old. The swimming pool is great on it. The art work is outstanding. My 2 children and I really enjoyed the ship. The staff was the greatest!
